The wise ones are worry free, thus their minds are at peace. The compassionate ones are obstacle free, thus their hearts are full of joy. Most of us, living in these modern times, are inevitably faced with stress and challenges. It takes a calm and wise mind to take on such challenges and to be ahead of the game.
The Buddha Dharma is a collection of the Awaken ones' wisdom. By learning the Dharma and practicing the cultivation methods, one can transcend one's ordinary mind to a new dimension that one never experienced before. The Massachusetts Buddhist Association, not confined to any Buddhist sect or lineage, is formed by a group of lay people with the intention to learn and practice the Dharma as taught by the Buddha and his disciples. To ensure we are on the right directions, we invite the Venerable Ji-Ru and Venerable Tran-Rong as our guiding teachers.
The majority of our activities are mostly Dharma talks and practice instruction sessions given by Buddhist monks and nuns. We also hold regular group discussions and various group practices. The environment is friendly and aspiring. Our goal is for all of us to be aspired and nurtured by the Dharma and to realize our potentials. We welcome all those who are interested to join us.
